Christopher Dale Sims

Christopher Dale Sims, 47, of Winnsboro, fought to the very end until his body released his spirit on August 25, 2023. Chris was born on January 28, 1976, to Zack Dale Sims and Pamela Ann (Russell) Sims. The Sims family made their way to Winnsboro soon after his birth and he became a lifelong resident. Chris loved his Savior, his family, and friends. Chris was a 1994 graduate of Winnsboro High School. He excelled as a concrete contractor and poured many a truckload during his life. The song that epitomized Chris the best was "Simple Man" by Lynard Skynard. Chris was preceded in death by his father Dale Sims. He is survived by his fiance' Heather Price; mother Pamela Ann Sims; stepmother Linda Sims; daughters Maci Sims, Rivver Sims, Lexi Johnson, and Madison Poole; sons Zach Sims and Blake Bennett; sister Audra Ann Sims; aunt and uncle Tonya and James Whittiker; niece Molly Sims. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Ministries in Winnsboro.
