Christy Battig Obituary
Christy A. Battig, age 75, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on Sunday morning October 19, 2025, at her home in Wilmington, OH.
She was born November 18, 1949 in Fulton, NY, daughter of the late Arnold Lathrop and Barbara (Ives) Lathrop.
Christy was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church and was a former employee at ABX and the Wilmington YMCA.
Surviving is her husband, William Battig whom she married August 2, 1969, daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Battig, son, Jeff (Sarah) Battig, grandson, Hayden Battig, two sisters, Clara (Robert) Krupka and Dale (Tim) Curry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10:30 am with Rev. Tom Mannebach officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home Wednesday, October 29, 2025 5:00 pm7:00 pm.
