Cleil W. Albrite

CLEIL "WELTON" ALBRITE, age 84 of Nokesville, Virginia died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at home with his family. Welton was born November 27, 1923 in Nokesville, Virginia, son of the late Charles H. and Mary Bliss Fitzwater Albrite. Welton was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He worked as manager of A & P for 30 years in Manassas, Virginia. Following retirement, he was employed by The Marriott Corporation for five years and worked with his sons Scottie and Skippy. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Vera Free Albrite; five children, Saundra Albrite Bouchard and husband John of Nokesville, VA, Brian Scott Albrite and wife Constance of Gainesville, VA, C.W. Albrite, Jr. and wife Patricia H. of Nokesville, VA; Gwendolyn Albrite Sisk and husband George of Nokesville, VA and Yvonne Albrite Gough and husband Dale of Nokesville, VA; one brother, Claude "Buck" Albrite of Manassas, VA; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2008 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Nokesville United Methodist Church, 12550 Aden Road, Nokesville with Rev. Sandra McMillen officiating. Interment will follow at Manassas City Cemetery.
