Daniel Alexander Obituary

Daniel Alexander died peacefully July 21, 2023. He was 76 years old. Dan grew up in Canton, MA and graduated with honors from Norfolk County Agricultural School. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1970 with a business degree. He then moved to Weare, NH to begin his lifelong passion of farming and growing Christmas trees and day lilies. His own varieties of lilies are well known in the industry for their unique colors. Dan loved pizza, Coca-Cola, and Putnam's onion rings. He was not particularly fond of showers and clothes, but loved his trucks and tractors. His favorite times were visiting friends and neighbors and having them stop by. Son of the late Charles and Sylvia Alexander. Dan is survived by his brother Chuck Alexander and his wife Donna, his nephews Matthew Alexander and his wife Christy, Joshua Alexander, and his wonderful nurse and friend Maria Desrosiers. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home. 210 Sherman St., Canton. Funeral services will be private.
