Dorothy Minder Obituary
She married John Wester on March 14, 1949, they had three children, Joe (Lenna) and twins, Cal (Rhonda) and Carl, they later divorced. On June 17, 1974 she married Denny Minder.
She worked more jobs than we remember. She was a roundhouse clerk for CMSTP&P until they moved to Glendive where she had two or three other jobs. If you went by her house, you knew which holiday was coming; she decorated for all. One thing was certain, she never was much for being still. She made shirts and knitted sweaters for us. She volunteered her time, sang in her church choir and acted in local theater productions.
She is survived by her two sons, Joe (Lenna), Cal (Rhonda); two stepdaughters, Kim and Dana; nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; brother Andrew "Butch" Schulenberg.
She was preceded in death by husband, Denny, one son, Carl and one grandson, Eric.
A funeral service took place at 1pm on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home, 245 Westwind Lane, Forsyth, MT 59327. Burial followed to Forsyth Cemetery, 2470 Front Street, Forsyth, MT 59327. A reception was held back at the funeral home.
