Douglas Martin Scarponi

On Monday, November 14, 2022, Douglas Martin Scarponi, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57. He was predeceased by his parents Patsy (Pat) and Patti Joyce Martin Scarponi in 2020. Doug was an alumnus of James Madison University and held an MBA from the University of Richmond. He was a CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Florida. He was a dedicated and loving son, husband, father, brother, and friend to many.
Doug's favorite past time was watching his favorite sports teams. His greatest joy and accomplishment in life was raising his daughter Ella. Ella was the light of his life and never missed an activity she participated in. Doug was also a devout Catholic and a parishioner of San Sabastian Catholic Church.
In addition to his daughter, Doug is survived by his wife of 30 years Michele Scarponi; sisters Debby (Jim) Henry, and Dana (Jay) Lanham; his in-laws Joseph and Bernadette Bouchard; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2 p.m. at St John's Family Funeral Home and Crematorium in St. Augustine, FL.
