Wow, I'm shocked to hear Drew has passed on. I was just talking with him a few weeks ago. He was my son's first and second grade basketball coach - two years in a row. We both really enjoyed our time around him and he was such a good mentor to the kids. Sending our love and condolences to his family and little Drew.

Drew was an amazing, caring, funny, and selflessly dedicated parent and person. I am so grateful for the time he gave children in our community. My own children benefited directly from Drew's volunteer coaching at school and in the community. I will never forget how seriously and joyfully he worked with children to help them feel connected and valued. Our Fairbanks community is forever better because of having Drew as a part of it.
