Edward James Richert. Age 48, of Davison, formerly Winder, GA died March 3, 2023 at home with his family beside him.
Edward was born September 18, 1974 in Flint, Michigan to the late James and Beverly. He was an avid sports fan, that really enjoyed football. You could always catch him watching and cheering for the University of Michigan, Georgia, and Detroit Lions. Earlier in life he enjoyed hunting also.
Edward is survived by his daughter Savannah (Austin) Ponsetto, siblings: Pam (Eric) Peltonen, Dawn Streeter, Larry Jr. Streeter, stepmother Linda Richert, grand-daughter Penelope, nieces & nephews: Cameron, Nathan, Billy, Britney, Devin, great-nieces & nephews Brayden, Kayd, Greyson, Adalynn, Laina, Damien, close friends: Pam Mosher, Damion Davis, Tracy LaGasse. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepdad Larry, and sister Sherry.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Edward's Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville. So sad to hear of Ed´s passing. He was one of the Merit Dr. kids that I watched grow up back in the 80-90´s. He and my "Lump" were quite the duo. May he RIP.
