I listed myself as family because that's what I consider Mrs. Copeland. She was one of many at Central UMC who embraced and loved me as a member without actual biological family at the church. Her sweet countenance and smile when she ushered and greeted members set the gold standard for that role. She will be missed, but she has earned her reward.

Our sincerest condolences to the Copeland family. Mrs. Copeland was one of my Sunday School teachers and when I was an adult I was blessed to work with her, my grandmother & aunt, Inez Rabb & Alyce Blake and godmother, Helen Mitchell helping to teach Sunday School. I can say I was truly blessed to have Mrs. Copeland and other members of Central give me such a wonderful love for Jesus. I am using what she and others taught me to teach my daughters and many they young people at my church for the last 30 years. Rest well in the loving arms of Jesus!

My heartfelt condolences are extended to the Copeland family. Mrs. Copeland was a beautiful soul. I have wonderful childhood memories of her warm, hospitable demeanor when I would come to sleepovers with her daughter, Natalie. Mrs. Copeland always made me feel welcomed and she made the best cakes that I ever tasted. I will always remember observing her as a wonderful wife, outstanding mother, and faithful sister. Mrs. Copeland was an angel on earth.
