Eric found peace on Saturday, June 21,2025 following an unwavering fight with metastatic lung cancer at the age of 53.
Born on July 5, 1971, the beloved son of John and Janice (nee Suring) Schadrie (whom survive him) was raised in West De Pere where his parents still reside.
He married his loving wife and devoted best friend Christine (Chris) Petitjean on January 18, 2014, in Sturgeon Bay.
Survived by Christine, who was Eric's rock through his periods of illness, his son Alexander Schadrie, stepdaughter Alexis Petitjean, Eric's sister Nicole (Robert) Dubs, nieces Breana and Jilyan Dubs, Chris's parents Arden & Glenda Schalk (whom Eric considered his 2nd Mom and Dad) sister & brother-in-law Wanda (Dale) Van Laanen, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Eric will be missed by many dear friends, especially Jay and Kristin Blanchard.
After his West De Pere High School graduation in 1989, he enlisted in the Air Force serving his country.
Eric spent his sales career in the cellular phone industry dedicating himself not only to success and satisfied Customers but also was rewarded as many became life friends.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 3:00PM Thursday, June 26, 2025, until the time of service at 6:00PM. Military rites will follow.
Special thanks to Bellin Hospital and Unity Hospice, your care and concern will not be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Eric's name may be made to The Wisconsin Humane Society Green Bay Campus to honor his and Chris's beloved dogs who have passed.
