Florence M. "Flossie" Foley

Florence "Flossie" M. Foley (nee Calabrese), of Blackwood, NJ, formerly of South Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully January 12, 2024, at the age of 102 years. Devoted wife of the late John A. Foley, Sr. Beloved mother of Jacqueline Burcham, Barbara Barr (Richard), the late John A. Foley, Jr., the late Patrick D. Foley, and the late James J. Foley. Loving grandmother of David Barr (Lucretia), Richard Barr (Angela), Bryan Barr, Michael Barr (Alexa), Patricia Moore (Arthur), and Travis Foley; great-grandmother of seven and great-great-grandmother of four.
Flossie worked for many years as a seamstress for J.E. Caldwell in Philadelphia, PA, where thoroughly enjoyed her job. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Blackwood, NJ and belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Jude's Church. Flossie was a tremendous baker, she was known especially for her pizzelles. She had an extensive clown collection that she had gathered over the years. Above all else, she loved her grandchildren and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She will be deeply missed by her beloved family.
