Lathrop Adler, Frances Ruthmary 1931-2010 Frances, daughter of late Alton and Sarah Ruth Lathrop; and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 28, 2010. She is survived by her husband Robert Adler; son Robert Burdick Adler; daughters Diane Frances Smith, Debbie Ethel Murphy and Donna Jean Stetner; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, two brothers and several nieces and nephews. Frances will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, lovely blue eyes and warm friendliness. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed immensely. She was a talented artist, craftsmen and antique collector. She enjoyed travel, entertaining family and friends, and Saturday morning yard sale hunts. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Mystic Congregational Church, 43 East Main St, Mystic CT on Saturday, May 22 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran’s memory may be made to; The American Heart Association, 1 union Street, #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183, www.americanheart.org Hospice Foundation of America, 1710 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20036, www.hospicefoundation.org Roberts Funeral Home of Ocala/West Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
