Gail was born on March 24th, 1949 and passed away on
March 30th, 2025 at the age of 76With a profound sense of sorrow and celebration, we recount the life of Gail Jane Romano, born on March 24, 1949, in New York, NY, who exuded creativity, spirit, and resilience throughout her lifetime. Gail, an embodiment of talent and tenacity, concluded her earthly journey on March 30, 2025, leaving a void in the hearts of many.
Gail was a woman of substance, whose life was a testament to her strength and capability. Settling in Tuckerton, New Jersey, she infused her life and work with a sense of purpose, showcasing her unique blend of creativity and professionalism. Gail was a known figure in the real estate business, working tirelessly until her retirement in 2024 from Riviera Realty. She handled both simple and complicated transactions with grace, a testament to her adeptness. Her talents extended beyond the realm of real estate. Together with her late husband Anthony, they owned a boutique "Wonderful Things" on Long Beach Island, a treasure trove filled with creative and significant art works. Her design technique was always sought after, and she brought a special touch to everything she took part in. It was rightly said, "Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures."
At the heart of Gail's life was her beloved daughter, Madison, to whom she was deeply devoted. Even though she was widowed, Gail stood as a pillar of strength, nurturing Madison with profound love and care. Her resilience in the face of adversity was truly admirable. Gail and Anthony's shared love for the Jersey Shore, where he was an avid fisherman, was something she cherished.
Gail is survived by her daughter Madison, her brother Bruce and his wife Barbara, her nephews Erik Trattler, Anthony Jr., her nieces Jennifer Trattler, Danielle Olsen and her husband Kevin, Amanda Lippincott and her husband Edward, and her brother-in-law Anthony Tufaro and his wife Jacqueline. She was also cared for for many years by her dear family friend Dennis Sweeney. She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Ruth Trattler, and her husband Anthony Romano.
As we remember Gail, let us celebrate her life, her spirit, and her legacy. She was a testament to the strength of the human spirit and an inspiration to all of us. Her life was a beautiful composition in the great symphony of humanity. To quote Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Gail Romano left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched.

We are so sorry to hear of Gail´s passing. She was full of personality, a perfect character out of a wonderful novel. One that is loyal, funny, dedicated and worldly. Her love and devotion to Madison was profound. She will be missed by all of us.
