Dear Ruby & family, Our thoughts & prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow. Gary was such a fun loving guy & made bowling a whole lot more fun! We always enjoyed being around all of you at the bowling alley. In time you'll be able to be happy for him that he's no longer suffering. We know how much you'll miss him, but try to remember all the happiness you shared throughout your years together.

So sorry to hear that Gary has passed. My Mother Dorothy worked with Gary many years at Safeway and my husband Ernie bowled with him. He was always so pleasant.

I had the great delight of working for Gary during a two year stint at Safeway years ago. He had the perfect balance of wisdom, humor, grace, and duty. My shift would always be smooth with Gary at the helm. After leaving Safeway, I still enjoyed seeing him both there and around the town. He always had that spark of friendliness. I mourn the loss of someone who was so significant to the tapestry of our community, but I celebrate that he is now refreshed and restored, and safely home with his Lord.
