George Douglas Obituary

Born January 4, 1947 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late George "Jim" and Gertrude (Long) Douglas.
Dave was an Army veteran who served in Stuttgart, Germany during the Vietnam era. For 39 years he worked in laboratory services for Merck & Co. He was a life-long sports enthusiast, and especially enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. Dave always enjoyed going down to the shore, specifically to Ocean City, NJ. His greatest joy in life was being surrounded by his grandchildren who affectionately knew him as Pop-Pop.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kevin S. Douglas (Lauren M. Lannutti) of Norristown, Joel D. Douglas (Jenna) of Souderton; and his grandchildren, Harper, Hayden, Charlotte, Maci, and David.
He is predeceased by a brother Charles R. Douglas.
Relatives and friends may call between 10:00 and 11:00 AM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446.
Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, PA.
