George Michael Parrish

George Michael Parrish, 56, of Jenks, Oklahoma passed peacefully, March 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. George was born in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late John Parrish and Donna Turner Godsey. George was a loving father, respected businessman and a leader among men.
George was a kind and humble man. He had a profound work ethic and was a mentor to many. He was intelligent with a sharpe sense of humor. George was generous and protective, well respected and proud. He loved history and was a great collector of literature. George loved to travel and experience all cultures.
George was an outstanding athlete. He appreciated all sports, but football was by far, his favorite. George had a great respect for all things outdoors. He loved hiking and camping with his friends. George enjoyed hosting gatherings with family and friends, spending time with his grandchildren, Bubba and Peach.
George is survived by his daughter, Colbi Parrish; grandchildren, Ocean Myers and Remi Myers; siblings, Jonnie Fay Mott and her husband Kenny and Deborah Jordan and her husband, Doug; nieces and nephews, Eli, Evan, Ben, Jarrod and Taylor; great- niece and nephew, Jackson and Ava; a host of other relatives and friends; and his beloved dogs, Jackpot and Lucy.
