I knew Gerry for 30 years, though I didn't see him much the last 15. I worked with him at Bancroft Contracting. He was kind of geeky, but brilliant! We would be working on a bid or a project and he was very realistic and down to earth about how to do the work, what to use for equipment, how much it would cost, everything. I always enjoyed working with and visiting with Gerry, despite that sweep of stringy hair over his forehead. I will miss him. I hope his wife and kids are all OK.
