Gloria "Memi" Marie Rose, 73, of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Camden, NJ she was the loving daughter of the late Bryant and Gloria (Smith) O'Neill and the devoted wife of William J. Rose with whom she spent 43 blissful years. Gloria was a strong and loving person that dedicated her life to her family, without complaint. She would listen without judgment and eagerly provide guidance and comfort. She had a gentleness that was recognized by everyone from the first moment you met her. She was an outstanding cook for both her family and fur babies. Gloria's infectious laugh and humor will be missed by all. The word that best describes Gloria is brilliant - shining brightly; sparkling; glittery! She encompassed them all! She was lovingly called "Memi" by her nine grand babies: Sean, Kylie, Isabella "Bella", Julia, Ben, Lucy, Samma Lamma, Marisol "Mari" and Declan. Every time she spoke of them, she would light up as if they were her precious diamonds. Gloria will be truly missed and always remembered by her husband; William Rose, daughters; Michele Rose, Brenda (Hely Bojorquez) de Bojorquez, Lisa Rose, sister; Kathy O'Neill - Zublic, brother; Bryant "Rick" O'Neill. In addition to her parents Gloria was predeceased by a brother; Edward "Eddie" O'Neill. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Gloria's Life Celebration Service on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 6:00pm at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, 228 Infield Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225. Her grandson, Sammy was telling me about how he loved her playing with them so much. He remembers playing in his jeep and Memi was sitting in a chair in the yard and she had water and snacks for them and he said "it was like playing McDonald (which i used to do a lot as a child). he said he would pull up to Memi and order his food and give her pretend money and she would give him the food. she was the best!
