Born April 22, 1931, in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Helen (Kenderdine) Gerhart.
Herb was an auto glass repairman for many years and a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was very active in many fraternal organizations, most notably included the Shiloh-MacCalla Lodge No. 558, past patron of the Priscilla Chapter #64 OES, past discreet governor of District 14 R Lions International and current member of Hatfield Lions Club.
His survivors include three children, Tom H. Gerhart (Linda Sue Phillips), Penny Quinn (David), and Cindy L. Koller (Michael); seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are private and under the direction of Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, PA.
