James L. Greer

Born in Winona, MN to Harriet (Plachecki) Greer and Donald Greer. Preceded in death by both parents.
Jim is survived by his sister Lois Greer (John Wasilczuk) and by his friends Larry Campbell, Debra Byzewski, and Diane and Ralph Skalak. Also survived by many cousins in WI, IL and PA, and by Anita Chybowski, his last surviving Aunt.
In addition to and no less than the previous, Jim loved his dog Charlie, the dog from a friend who couldn't keep him and who became a treasured family member. Charlie will surely miss taking walks with Jim.
Following in his father's footsteps, Jim chose to become a custodian, and honorable occupation. He loved gardening and bringing life to gardens be they his or others'. He was good hearted and helped anyone who needed a hand. He will be missed by those he left behind who remember him before cancer and a tumor stole his sense of humor and happy memories.
No plans have as yet been made for a service. Donations may be made in Jim's name to Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, where he spent countless hours.
