Janet Booher Chadock

Janet B. Chadock age 91 of Vienna, WV passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born November 9, 1933, in Orma, WV, a daughter of the late Ralph and Ota Luzader Booher. Janet was a graduate of Calhoun County High School and Charleston Business College. She was retired from the US Postal Service, where she was a former postmaster at Brohard, WV and a district clerk at Parkersburg. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, where she was a choir member and former Young Adult Teacher and a past member of the Grantsville Chapter #73 Order of The Eastern Star and current member of the Vienna Chapter Eastern Star.
Janet is survived by her son, Steven E. Chadock (Cathy) of Walker, WV; grandson, Tyler G. Chadock (Malorie) of Williamstown; granddaughter, Allison McClung (Ryan) of Williamstown; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Mason and Gracie and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gene Chadock; her sisters, Virginia Cunningham, Helena Fulks, and Susie Rauch and brothers, Deward, Theodore and Grover Booher.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Sue Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday and one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, 497 21st Street, Vienna, WV 26105 in memory of Janet.
