Oh my, this looks like the John Luffe I went to school with at California University of PA, way back in the mid/late 80's. If memory serves, he was from Harrison City area, I thought. He was one of the few in the class that I never saw him upset or in a bad mood. Always smiling, happy and a cat that ate the canary grin on his face. A pleasant person to be around.

He was a great mentor, a role model, and the father of one of my best friends. I have core memories with him in them, and he had a lasting, positive impact on my life. What more can be said about a good man like him, barring that he left us all too soon?

My special moment with John was when we brought our beautiful baby boy into this world.
So sorry for your loss. May God be with you all.

I remember my mom bringing him home when the two started dating. I was hiding on the stairs. But I was also like 4 or 5 and new people were scary
