Weslaco - Jose Mendiola Jr., 76, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital.
Mr. Mendiola was born October 12, 1947 in Weslaco, Texas son of Jose Mendiola and Manuela Gonzales Mendiola. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Billy Joe Mendiola, Linda Cortez, Orlando Mendiola and Jorge Luis Solis; his brother, Roberto Mendiola; sisters, Elva Cardenas and Gloria Rodriguez. Also surviving him are 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass is scheduled for Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at St.Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Rio Grande Valley Veterans State Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
