Joseph P. Mittnacht, age 62, a resident of Mequon, entered eternal life on Friday, December 24, 2021 at his residence of natural causes.
Joe was born on May 7, 1959 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Cyril and Maxine Louise Younglove Mittnacht. Joe attended Roncalli High School and graduated with the class of 1977. He continued his education for one year at the University of Wisconsin Manitowoc Extension followed by attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he graduated in 1982. Joe was employed as an account manager with FIS Corporation in Milwaukee. Joe had equal interest in sports and music sharing that interest with family and friends. He was active following and supporting his children in their sports and coaching Little League in previous years.
He is survived by his three children, Andrew and twin daughters April and Allison, all at home; his brother, Robert Mittnacht, Milwaukee; one niece, Torian Stuht; one nephew, Trae Mittnacht; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Maxine Louise Mittnacht.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Doug LeCaptain with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo from 12 p.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m.
Memorials would be appreciated in Joe's name to Froedtert Hospital Cancer Care Center or Roncalli High School. Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
