Joyce Hiott Obituary

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Neta Martin Hawkins. She was a retired teacher's aide in Anderson School District #5. Joyce loved gardening and shared her flowers with family and friends. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church, the Faith Sunday school class, and sang in the choir for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Nandel Smith (Tony); son, Rev. Charlton Hiott (Ginger); two grandchildren, Tyler Hiott (Kendall) and Emily Hiott; great-granddaughter, Charlie Jane Hiott; and her sister, Sue Walker.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Hawkins and Parker Hawkins and a sister, Bobbie Stewart.
Funeral services and burial will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Church, 1012 Concord Road, Anderson, SC 29621, or Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
