Judy was a natural born caregiver. She ran a daycare for a number of years and she was a live-in nanny
for several families. She was a caring talented cook at the Tupper Lake High School and the HGA. Always
serving lunch with a smile.
Judy's culinary skills were not just enjoyed by her friends and family but also by many of the great camp

her more joy than sharing a hot cup of strong coffee around her kitchen table. She loved sitting on her
porch watching the hummingbirds and other critters overlooking town atop Tallman Street. She often
had advice to give, stories to tell, and yummy snacks to share. Namely her famous raised donuts or a
slice of delicious meat pie.
Judy is survived by her children, Edith Demarse and her husband Len of Malone, NY; Marcie Churco and
her companion John of Riverside, CA; John Churco and his wife Bonnie of Ogdensburg, NY; Warren
"Sam" Churco of Saranac Lake, NY; Anne Eldred and her husband Steve of Tupper Lake, NY; And Jay
Churco and his wife Shannon of Briggsville, WI. Judy is also survived by two sisters, Ann Beauchamp and
Fredolyn Mitchell both of Tupper Lake; As well as several nieces and nephews. Judy was a doting and
loving grandmother for 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Jean Sparks.
Judy's family would like to give sincere thanks to all the wonderful staff at Mercy Living Center and to all
of Judy's amazing friends who filled her life with laughter through the years.
