Obituary For June J. Solomon
June Solomon was born on August 27, 1957 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Willie Bell Turner and the late Mr. Johnny Stembridge in Macon, Georgia. June attended Southwest High School in Macon, Georgia. June was employed by Church's Chicken, where she was the store manager and employed for over 14 years as a diligent and faithful worker. Even after her retirement, she would still show dedication to her job, co workers and customers.
On December 7, 1973, June married the love of her life. Mr. L.H. Solomon. To this union, three loving children were born, Jermaine, Jamie and Demetrice, who loved and cared for their mom through all of life's struggles. June was a sweet and humble person and she loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. June would often sacrifice herself to help others. June enjoyed listening to gospel music and her favorite scripture was John 3:16. In 2022, she gave her life to Christ and joined the River of Life Ministries, where she was a member until her desmise.
June was the oldest of seven children. She was a nurturing person who always took care of all in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Willie Bell Turner and Mr. Johnny Stembridge. On Sunday, September 3, 2023, June passed away peacefully at her home.
June leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories with her devoted husband of 50 years, Mr. L.H. Solomon; Three children: Mr. Jermaine (Laverne) Solomon, Mr. Jamie Lee Solomon, and Ms. Demetrice Yvette Solomon, all of Warner Robins, GA.; 12 grandchildren, Jasmine Talton, Dendrick Solomon, Kanesha Ross, Sharkeevia Solomon, Devin Solomon, Deion Jones, Ja'Quavius Solomon, Adashia Williams, Trevarious Solomon, Dontavius Solomon, Rakesh Solomon and Malayah Williams; one sister, Ms. Judy Jones of Warner Robins, GA.; Five brothers, Mr. Clifford Jones, Jr., Mr. Ronnie (Gloria) Jones; Mr. Calvin (Alverstine) Jones; and Mr. Gerald (Mesha) Jones, all of Warner Robins, GA., and Mr. Charles Jones of Fort Valley, GA.; Five sister in laws; Mrs. Johnnie Mae Garner and Ms. Dorothy Solomon of Warner Robins, GA.; Mrs. Ocie Collins, Mrs. Elizabeth Davis and Mrs. Geraldine Davis, all of Fort Valley, GA.; one brother in law, Mr. James Solomon of Fort Valley, GA.; 6 great grandchildren; 10 adopted grandchildren; two devoted nieces and a nephew whom she reared as her own, Ms. Brittany Jones, Ms. Kendra Jones and Mr. Breon Jones all of Warner Robins, GA; two more devoted nephews, Mr. Geric Boyer and Mr. Charlie Boyer, Jr., both of Warner Robins, GA.; a devoted sister-in-law, the late Mrs. Ethel Boyer, who she considered her sister; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
