John Dennis Lovejoy, Jr., 75, entered into rest on October 18, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1949, to the late John Dennis Lovejoy, Sr. and Mildred Harris Lovejoy.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of thirty-four years, Carolyn Rape Lovejoy; his son, Richard Christopher “Chris” Ganas and wife Zandra; cherished grandson, Noah Holcomb; and his sister, Karen Harris Dollar and husband Greg. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A proud alumnus of the University of Georgia, Dennis was an avid fan of the UGA Bulldogs. He found great joy in fishing, reading, and exploring history.
