When I was 11, she had me on the phone bank in Texas campaigning for the republican candidate at the time. Republicans were an insignificant % of the population in Texas in 1868.
Powerful individual.

Katye was such an inspiration to me in my younger years. She provided wonderful guidance which I have always remembered and tried to pass along. My sincere condolences to the family and especially Linda, Elaine, Sandy and Karen.
