Larry M. Hunter

Early Wednesday evening June 21, 2023, Marshall answered his call to enter into the presence of the Lord. Marshall was a son of Willie Alvin Hunter, Jr. and the late Dorothy B. Beaty Hunter.
Marshall joined at an early age, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was educated in school district #3 and was a graduate of Crescent High School.
Marshall served in the Army Reserve from high school until 1996.
Marshall was married to the love of his life Joyce B. Hunter of 43 years. To this union they were blessed with four children, Kathy Goodine (Michael), Rashon Hunter (Leia), Cissily Hunter, and NiKesha Hunter.
Marshall leaves to celebrate his life ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition, he leaves to cherish so many memories his siblings, Albert Leroy Hunter (Debra), Willie Alvin Hunter, III (Joann), Betty Hunter Paul (Enoch) and Lessie Hunter Brownlee (Daron). And mother-in-law, Pearlie Bryant.
Marshall was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Belle Beaty Hunter, grandparents, Willie Alvin Hunter, Sr. and Addie Clemons Hunter, Uncle Bertram Hunter, Nathaniel Beaty and Ella Hatten Beaty, sister-in-law, Bridgette Bryant, father-in-law, Billy Bryant and a granddaughter, baby Keishonna Hunter.

Also, we would like to thank those who took the time to call who visit, send text, brought food and your thoughts and prayers.
Family, friends, and any others whose lives Mr. Hunter touched are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Iva, SC with the interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be Friday, June 30, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the mortuary.
