Laura Gail Duke

Laura Gail Duke, 76, of Tucker, Georgia peacefully passed away on August 25, 2023. Gail is survived by her husband Jim and son Phillip (Tammy), grandchildren Madisen Duke and Ethan Duke, and brothers Tom Striplin and David Striplin and many other beloved family members.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents Clyde Thomas Striplin Sr and Annie Laura Striplin.
She was born in Cordele Georgia on November 17, 1946. She attended Georgia Baptist School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for Resurgens Orthopaedics as a Worker's Compensation Coordinator. She was retired and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, making crafts, and genealogy research. She was active in her faith and a member of the Briarlake Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia. She will be missed by her family and all that knew her.
Gail's family will host visitation from 10:00am-10:50am on Saturday September 9th at the Briarlake Baptist Church Chapel in Decatur, Georgia. The memorial service will begin at the Chapel at 11:00am. There will be a private burial with the family at 2pm at the Decatur Cemetery.
