Lee McKinney Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Parker & Son Funeral Home - Lodi on Jul. 28, 2023.
Lee Anne McKinney, 80, of Palmer, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Baylor Medical Center of Waxahachie after a period of declining health.
Lee Anne was born August 10, 1942 to the late Cecil and Thelma Ridenour in Shelby, Ohio. She graduated from Shelby High School in 1960, and worked at AMF for several years. She then moved to Lodi, OH where she raised her daughters. Lee Anne worked for Permold Corp. in Medina, retiring in 2004, moving to Palmer, Texas in 2005.
She was an avid bowler for many years, and enjoyed reading and her crossword puzzles. The joy that her grand and great-grandchildren gave her was like no other. She loved spending quality time with the family on the weekends. Lee Anne always made time to sit and talk sports, especially those Ohio State Buckeye's. She was an ardent supporter of her grandchildren's endeavors, attending as many of their activities as she was able to.
Lee Anne is survived by her daughter, Barbara (James) Graber of Palmer, Texas; grandchildren, Jeffrey & Cindy Graber, James & Hannah Graber, Danielle Graber, Joseph Lester, Terri & Tom Cottrell, and Michael Lester; great-grandchildren, Paige, Halle, Cole, Ethan, Jaxon, Gracie, Braiden, Hunter and Addison; sisters, Pamela Ridenour of Homerville, Carol (Jay) Rott of Adamsville, and Linda Ostrom of Shelby and brothers, Tom (Rosemary) Ridenour of Shelby, and Roger (Jean) Ridenour of Mullins, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sharron McKinney and brother, Charles Ridenour.
Lee Anne was truly one of a kind, and was the best Great Gram. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 30, from 5 to 8 PM at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, Ohio, where her funeral service will be Monday, July 31, at 11 AM.
Chaplain Don Boilch will officiate, and burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Homerville, Ohio.
