Linda S. Holford

Linda S. Holford, 67 of Alexandria died unexpectedly on March 18, 2023, at her residence.
Linda was born in Marion, IN on Jan. 8, 1956 and was the daughter of Joseph Ryder and Susan Dailey.
She was retired from the Alexandria-Monroe School Corp. where she worked as a custodian. Linda was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Blessed Savior, Alexandria, and the Eagles Auxiliary.
Linda was an avid Gardner and enjoyed cooking especially for her family. Family time was important to Linda, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to carry on her legacy of love is her daughter, Chasin (Alan Williams) Wells; her brothers, Ricky Ryder and Thomas Dailey; her sister, Louisa (Don) Hamilton. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Taylor (Travis Conner) Wells, Ryan (Brittany) Wells, Kyle Wells, and Adora Davis and her great-grandchildren, Lukas Conner and Elijah Conner, and special friend, Bert Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Derrick Davis, and a great-grandchild, Maverick Wells.
A memorial service for Linda will be held on Friday, Mar. 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave. Chapel, 1503 S Park Ave., Alexandria with Bud Whetsel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
