Lori Ann Stevens-Kiphen, age 36, of Bryan, TX completed her mission here on earth and passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012, into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Lori was born in San Jose, CA, May 18, 1976, at Good Samaritan Hospital to J. Edward Stevens and Linda Terry Stevens Topham. She moved to Orem, UT in 1980 and graduated from Orem High School in May 1994. Lori moved to Bryan, TX in January 2006. While there, she obtained a nursing degree from Blinn College where she received the Outstanding Clinician Award upon graduation. She served as a nurse at St. Josephs Medical Center for three years. Lori was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lori loved spending time in the mountains of Utah and caring for her patients; but her life passion was her son and family. She was known as the "sunshine girl" wherever she went because of her bright personality and she was loved by many. She is survived by her husband, Brandon Kiphen, of Bryan, TX; son, Jaden Stevens of Gainesville, FL; parents, J. Edward Stevens of Mesa, AZ; and Linda Terry Stevens Topham and step-father, Charles Topham of Orem, UT; sister, Kelly (Shawn) of Gainesville, FL; and brothers, Mark (Ann) of Salt Lake City, Greg (Heather) of South Jordan, and John (Andrea) of Midvale, and 13 beautiful nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her step-mother, Diana Jo Stevens. The family would like to thank all of those who have expressed their sympathy in this time of need. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 3, 2013, 11 a.m. at the Cascade LDS Stake Center, 481 East Center Street in Orem. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North in Orem, and Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery. Donations to a memorial fund for Lori's son, Jaden, can be made at www.loristevensmemorial.blogspot.com
