Lydia Garcia Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 29, 2025.
Lydia Maria Garcia passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025. She was born to Robert Bobby Ponce and Mary Elena Lopez Wuertenberg in San Angelo,Texas on February 18,1961.
Lydia is survived by her two sons: Jacob McBayne Garcia (Elsa) and Dennis McBayne (Kristina). Also survived by two grandchildren.
Lydia is preceded in death by both of her parents: Robert Bobby Ponce and Mary Elena Lopez Wuertenberg as well as her brother Samuel Luna.
Lydia was so full of life and had the biggest heart. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Sacred Heart where she enjoyed teaching CCD/RCIA classes. She was a fierce little firecracker with so much energy and always the life of the party. Her creativity and her imagination were so big where she would make something out of nothing. She was very talented at what she did she absolutely loved doing arts and crafts and sewing was her passion.
Thank you to HOSA (Orange Team) especially Johnny and Candy who were amazing nurses to her as well as Sam always checking to make sure she didn't need anything. Also to our dear Becky always making sure she looked her best. At Lydia's request, there will be no funeral or service.
