Margaret “Peggy” (Kelly) Gleason of North Conway, NH, formerly of Stoneham, MA, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the age of 68.
Peggy had a way of making people feel at home the moment they walked through her door. She loved to cook, always trying new recipes, but her homemade pizza was unmatched—something her family will always crave. She had a knack for finding the best deals and took great joy in shopping, especially when it meant surprising someone with the perfect gift.
The holidays were her time to shine. Peggy poured her heart into making them magical, from the twinkling decorations that filled her home to the thoughtful presents she picked out for her kids, family, and friends. Christmas morning with Peggy meant you felt truly seen and loved.
She was a proud Bruins fan who rarely missed a game on TV. More than anything, Peggy put others first. She was deeply thoughtful, endlessly generous, and had a quick, playful sense of humor that could light up a room. She was the kind of person you could call at any hour, and she’d be there for you—no questions asked.
Peggy was the devoted mom of Amanda Gleason and Patrick Gleason, and the loving daughter of the late John Kelly and Linda (DiCicco) Kelly. She was the treasured sister of Joan and Ed Barry, Mary and Don Berube, Henry and Marcia Rigler Kelly, Dennis and Jackie Kelly, Thomas and Beverly Kelly, Paula and Robert Georgette, David Kelly, Kathy and Robert DiCarlo, Robert and Marianne Kelly, and the late Joseph Kelly.
She leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that her family and friends will carry with them always.
At the family’s request, services will be held privately.
