Maria De Los Angeles Lopez. 82, went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 6, 2023, peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born August 2, 1940, to Mamerto De Ochoa and Maria Hernandez Salazar in La Hacienda Santa Gertrudes, General Teran, Mexico. She is survived by her loving family; Husband; Jose Gregorio Lopez, 3 children; Martha (Isidro) Martinez, Patricia (Jaime) Alcocer, Carlos Lopez, 9 Grandchildren; Jose Martinez, Yaneth (Marco) Duran, Jessica (German) Hernandez, Vanessa (Gerardo) Pedraza, Jose Lopez Jr., Emily (Manuel Zamora) Ortega, Javier Lopez, Jaime Alcocer and Susana Alcocer. Maria is preceded in death by her parents and 1 son: Jose Guadalupe Lopez. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 11:00 a.m.to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel Peace at 9:30 p.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will then follow at Mercedes Restawn Cemetery in Mercedes Texas. Maria enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, having family gatherings and helping all those, she could., and was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She is and will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes Texas.
