Martha McNeill Obituary
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m, Friday, August 18, 2023, at Union Grove Baptist Church, Seagrove, with Rev. Farrell Hussey and Dr. Ron Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Lincoln County, NC, on December 31, 1942, Martha was the daughter of the late Samuel Bruce Christopher and Clevie Lee Yarborough Christopher. She was retired from the Randolph County Tax Department. She was a long time member of Union Grove Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Martha loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Leon H. McNeill, one brother and five sisters.
Surviving are her sons, Randy McNeill (Kris) of Graham, Steve McNeill (Lisa) of Cary; grandchildren, Meredith McNeill Eubanks (Brian), Jordan McNeill Lukins (Michael), Samantha McNeill, Mary McNeill; great grandchildren, Ethan, Anslee, Avery, and a baby girl on the way.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m, Friday, prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 7912 Union Grove Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341.
