Mary A. Euler

STURGIS, MICH. – MARY A. EULER age 71 of Sturgis, Michigan died Monday, June 21, 2004 at the home of her daughter Nancy Lipko in Sturgis. She was born October 10, 1932 in Sturgis, Michigan a daughter to Homer & Pearl (Brown) Carter.

Mary resided her entire life in Sturgis. On August 14, 1952 she married Roland E. Euler in Angola, Indiana. He died August 1, 1990. For over 20 years she and her husband transported trailers and motor homes for the Morgan Drive Way Company. She had also done waitress work and was a homemaker.

Mary was a member of The Church of the Stone in Wolcottville, Indiana and enjoyed puzzle books, playing Yahtzee and marbles. She loved time spent with her family.

She is survived by 5 Daughters and their husbands, Phyllis Ann & Gary Runyan of Cedar Springs, MI, Nancy Susan Lipko, Mabel & Ronald Waite and Ellen & Garnet Waite, Jr. all of Sturgis, MI and Lois & James Kerschner of Burr Oak, MI, 4 Sons and their wives, Larry Carter, Roger & Bonnie VanAvery and Roland Euler, Jr. all of Sturgis, MI and Bruce VanAvery of Las Vegas, NV, 21 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, 1 Sister, Thelma & Gerald Smith of Vicksburg, MI, 1 Brother, Homer Carter, Jr. of Elkhart, IN and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, 1 sister, Lauretta Hentzel, 2 brothers, Robert Carter and Richard Carter, 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter preceded her in death.

Friends and relatives may call at the HACKMAN-Foglesong Funeral Home of Sturgis after 2:00 P.M. Thursday where the family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary A. Euler will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Michael Stanley of The Church of the Stone in Wolcottville will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Oak Lawn cemetery in Sturgis.
