Age 67 of Elmira, NY. She was born on April 19th 1955, the daughter of the late Yustin and Marion (Corby) Riopko, and passed away on Wednesday morning of August 30th 2022.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Mark Brennan; children Robert Brennan & Tiffany Pelrah; brothers Yustin (Judy) Riopko, and John (Cathy) Riopko; along with several dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
Millie joined the Postal Service in 1977, becoming the Postmaster of Hector, NY in 1984 and retiring form the USPS as Postmaster in Pine Valley, NY in 2012. She greatly enjoyed her time with her children; taking them to soccer games or heading to Waneta Lake with her family. Millie had an impeccable 'green thumb' and took pride and enjoyment when she was gardening. She also was an avid motorcyclist and Harley Davidson enthusiast. She will be greatly missed by all those who were better for knowing her.
Private services will be held with her family; Millie will be laid to rest in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Elmira Heights.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the St. Joseph s Skilled Nursing Staff 3D for their special care of Millie.
Those wishing may make a donation in her name to the Chemung County SPCA or a charity of your choice.
