A Celebration of Life for Johnny Walker
Everyone loved Johnny Walker. He was very pleasant, easy-going and a great joy to be around, Johnny would not hurt anyone, and he would give you the shirt off his back.
It was on May 14, 1979, that the late John Walker Sr. and his wife Oretha Moore Walker welcomed their twin boys into this world. Premature at birth, weighing only 3 pounds each. Johnny came into this world first with his brother John holding onto his back. Johnny began school at PK Yonge and graduated in 1997. Johnny was baptized into the body of Christ at the young age of 12 at the Lakefront Church of Christ. Johnny enjoyed cooking and assisting his mother with catering events. Johnny was a lover of fashion and design. You could always count on Johnny to give you the latest information about any special event such as weddings, anniversaries, and parties.
After graduating from high school, Johnny attended Johnson and Wales Culinary School in Miami, Florida. He later attended Bly's Cosmetology School in Gainesville and received his license and became a hair stylist. Johnny opened his own salon and attracted clientele from all around for his ability to do natural twists and haircuts. Prior to death, Johnny was employed as the Executive Assistant for Housing at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare.
