Eartha Lee Ross,78 of Dunnellon, Florida passed away on October 12, 2025.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory of her devoted husband, George Ross Jr.; and her children: George Alexander Ross (Katie) of Ocala, Florida; Jermaine “Vonzell” Ross (Keiijuana) of Citrus Springs, Florida; Georgette Bass (Michael) of Citrus Springs, Florida; and Crystal Ross of Dunnellon, Florida. She is also survived by her 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and her loving sister/cousins: Lois Murphy Hilliard of Dunnellon, Florida; Glory Lee Robinson Bell (Theodore) of Bradenton, Florida; and Diane Cox (James) of Dunnellon, Florida; Special nieces: Janice Nelson of Dunnellon, Florida; and Tanya Grimsley (Kevin) of Ocala, Florida; Special nephews: Rico Smith and Dante Black of Dunnellon, Florida. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends throughout the community. Special friends include members of the Par Four Golf Club; Geneva Dunbar; Willie Mae Roberts; Lucille Oliver; and Liz Reddick, just to name a few. Eartha’s extended family also includes Darlene Wilson and family; Stephanie Booker and family; Josephine Garrison and family; Lucille Oliver and family. She was preceded in death by one child, Jason Bernard Ross; one sister, Carole Annette Robinson; one brother, James Nelson Jr.; and her beloved parents, James Edward Nelson and Rozetta Yant Nelson.
