Neil C. Johnston

Johnston, Neil C. of Weymouth, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2023, at the age of 60.
Neil was born in Boston to the late William and Theresa Johnston. He met the love of his life Holly in high school when he was 17 and she was 18. The two have been together ever since for 43 years. They went on to have three beautiful children, Heather, Daniel, and Matthew. Neil took great pride in his work, doing construction every day, even if he was sick. Though work meant a lot to him, his pride and joy was his family. Neil was a family man through and through and that is where his dedication was. Though he suffered with heart conditions for the past few years, nothing held Neil back from being there for his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Loving husband of Holly Johnston of Weymouth. Beloved dad to Heather Pelosi and her husband Scott of Weymouth, Daniel Johnston of Weymouth, and Matthew Johnston of Weymouth. Cherished brother to Diane McClennon of Plymouth, William Johnston and his wife Elizabeth of Georgia, Margaret MacLeod of Athol, and Mark Johnston and his wife Kathy of Whitman. Proud pops to Hadleigh and Scotty Pelosi. Survived by his sister-in-law Rosalie O'Neil. He will be missed by his dogs Ava and Koda. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 11:15 on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 12:00PM. Neil's wishes were to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Neil's name may be made to American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
