Service for Pablo Rodriguez, 80, will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 7, 2024 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be prior to service 4-6:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jose Salazar, Alex Rodriguez, Aaron Rodriguez, Ariel Varela, Jose Luis Varela, Beni Rios, Ivan Rios, Donovann Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers will be Benigno Rios, Luis Varela, Dustin Armstrong, Joseph Arias, Ernest Perez, Billy Bergstrom and Eduardo Villanueva.
Pablo passed away April 26, 2024 in Dallas. He was born June 22, 1943 to Jose Santos Rodriguez and Maria Zapata Rodriguez. He was a lifetime resident of Cleburne and worked 40 years at Texas Lime in the Kiln Room. He loved the Texas Rangers, Thanksgiving and New Years. Pablo was a faithful lottery player and enjoyed dancing at parties. He always called to check on his friends in the U.S. and Mexico. Pablo loved his family, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Pablo is survived by his sons, Efrain Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez; daughters, Maria G. Varela, Maria D. Ibarra, Cinda Armstrong, Paloma Rodriguez; step sons, Rene Santillano, Justin Barnett; step-daughters, Mayra Arias, Sherri Carroll, Debbie Walker; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; long time partner, Maria Barron; brothers, Porfirio Rodriguez, Fausto Rodriguez and sisters, Benita Gonzales and Piedad Bailon.
Pablo is preceded in death by his first wife, Rosa Maria Zapata; second wife, Sandra Rodriguez.
