Paul H. Brennen of Marshfield, formerly of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on November 26 surrounded by loving family at the age of 83. Former husband of Joan Easterbrook and the late Mitsuko (Ito). Devoted father of Patrick Brennen and his wife Karen of Waltham, Lia Brennan and her late husband Ronald of Pembroke and Celeste Brennen of Pembroke. Cherished brother of Richard Brennen and his wife Kris of Duxbury and Susan Mellow and her husband Glen of Bermuda. Longtime companion of Chereel Stafilopatis and loving "Nonno Paul" of Alex, Shea, Amanda, Ryan, Tyler and Paige and uncle of Matthew and Jessica. All services will be private at family's request.

We wrote and sang a Christmas Song that got over 1 million views on YouTube, did a Bar Tricks video starring Paul, spent many a Christmas Holidays laughing and enjoying all our friends and family. The list goes on and on as will my wonderful memories of my dear friend Paul. May he rest in peace. PS Paul hope you meet up with Joe and Al in heaven

Dick & Kris, Lia, Patrick & Karen, Joan, Celeste and all the grandchildren please accept our deepest felt condolences. When I think of Paul, I am reminded of the
"Most Unforgettable Characters I have ever Met" section of Reader´s Digest. For Paul, was if anything, an "Unforgettable Character". I met Paul almost 60 years ago when we were both students at UMass-Boston. I think almost everyone who knew him has a "Paul" story. I remember one night Paul and I decided to make "Beef Bourginon".
Paul suggested we pour some Cognac into our stew and flambée our meal. It didn´t light at first, so Paul kept pouring more Cognac into the pot. Then we leaned over and lit another match. "Boom"! We were both almost knocked over. Joan ran into the kitchen looking panicked as Paul and I said,sheepishly ,"Oh, it was nothing". We could smell our acrid beards and eyebrows which were totally singed ! It was quite a night. Yes, Paul was "Unforgettable! I will miss him.

Daddy Paul was our real life Santa. Best storyteller, absolutely hysterical and was amazing to my mother and children. He´s already sorely missed.
