With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Paul Jeffrey Cosper, a cherished husband, devoted father, adored son, and beloved friend. Born on January 9, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, Paul's life was one of compassion, dedication, and unwavering love. His journey on this earth came to an end on September 22, 2024.

Growing up, his parents – Thomas and Marilyn Cosper, instilled in Paul the importance of family. As he began his walk with Christ, he developed a passion for helping others – especially as a foster dad. His deep-rooted commitment to helping others also led him to volunteer at the Irving Cares Food Pantry, making a positive impact in the lives of many.

Paul graduated from Hackettstown High School in New Jersey, and later pursued his Bachelor's Degree at Western Carolina University. In his professional life, Paul excelled in his career at HOLT CAT, where he was beloved by many.

Beyond his professional achievements, Paul's true joy came from his family. He married the love of his life, Lisa, on July 30, 1988, and together they raised four wonderful children - Shelby, Katherine, Nicholas and Madelyn. His dedication to his family was unwavering, as demonstrated by his active involvement in Compass Church NFW.

Paul's favorite pastimes included hunting, grilling, skeet shooting, and basking in the beauty of the beach. Paul’s humble spirit allowed him to connect deeply with people, making him a cherished friend to many.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Cosper, and his sister, Donna Cosper.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Cosper, his children: Shelby, Katherine, Nicholas and Madelyn Cosper, his mother Marilyn Cosper, his sisters: Kim Kreciki (Mark) and Lynne Cosper, mother-in-law Betty Muhlenbeck, brother-in-law Mark Muhlenbeck (Donna), sister-in-law Debbie Freer (Michael), brother-in-law George Lanis, nieces and nephews: Nikki Kreciki, Kyle Kreciki, Harreson Lanis, Clare Shackley (Jacob), Mitchell Freer (Madelyn) Anna Potter (Mark), Kristen Muhlenbeck (Rob), Joshua Muhlenbeck (Emily), Matthew Muhlenbeck – and numerous great nieces and nephews.

The celebration of Paul's life will take place at Compass Church NFW on Saturday, September 28th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Christ's Haven for Children in honor of Paul's legacy of giving back.

Paul Jeffrey Cosper touched the hearts of many during his lifetime, leaving a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness that will be forever cherished. May his memory be a blessing, and may his unwavering spirit guide and inspire us all.
