Miss you Phil. You were so generous in helping Kelly's Lot create new ways to reach an audience. Loved our conversations on the phone and hearing about your Drone adventures! Peace brother! Love you. kelly z

I first met Phil in August of 1986 in the house we both lived in at the time in Los Angeles. He was getting his laundry from the machine, and what struck me was his very friendly smile - I can see it in my mind like it was yesterday. I also remember that I was 19 at the time, and he was 33 - which seemed OLD to me at that time, ha ha. However, that age difference never affected us; I had grown up in northern IL, so we shared a common cultural background of the Midwest as well as a great love for music. We developed a great friendship that lasted nearly four decades, staying in touch long after we'd moved apart. Phil had such a warmth to him; I visited him at his home a handful of times over the years, and he always made me feel special. I really miss him, and very much wish that I could laugh about old times with him. Phil was one of the best people I ever knew.

So very sorry for all who loved Phil. I was one of those people. I just read today about this and am trying to find words. He and I had many conversations on the phone through the years plus he did a few videos for my band. We were friends since 1996. Sending love to you Phil and I know I will see you again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I am just finding out about his passing, today, online. I didn't know Phil very long, but the short time I did know him, he was always so wonderful and fun when we got together to see the Eagles nest in Bay View. He helped my Uncle Bernie from FL, find me in Milwaukee on February 19, 2020. He was such a kind and gentle man. I am going to really miss his kind words and the Christian Services he shared with me.
