Ramdeo Ramroop

Ramdeo Ramroop (aka Seaw) of Bronx New York passed away on April 22, 2023, at Montefiore Hospital - the Moses Campus. He was 63 years old. He was born at Lenora Hospital to Harakdai Johnson and the late Sonny Ramroop. He was one of four children, Ramsingh, the late Maureen Persaud, and chandmattie.
Ramdeo graduated from Patentia Secondary School and the Government Technical Institute in Georgetown Guyana. He would later meet his wife, Bibi Ramroop. They got married and lived at Good Hope Canal no.1 West Bank Demerara where they raised their three children.
Ramdeo worked at Mohammed Electronics in Georgetown Guyana. He was also a self-employed entrepreneur and took care of his mother. He had a strong work ethic and loved his job. Ramdeo always made sure family came first and always enjoyed spending his time surrounded by family and friends.
Dad, you were selfless, hardworking, poised, and a very humbled human being. You're gone but I feel as if you are still here with me. I will miss you every second of every hour, it hurts so much that I won't be able to call for Daddy anymore. Dad, you were not only my father but also my best friend. I love you so very much, all the memories we have together will forever live in my heart.
Ramdeo will be remembered as a devoted son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, relative, and friend. He will be dearly missed; however his family finds comfort in the many treasured memories he leaves behind.
Ramdeo is survived by his mother Harakdai, his wife Fazia, his brothers Ramsingh, Ivan, his two sons Vickram, Vishaun, his daughter Preya and son-in-law Adil. He was the grandfather of Ayaan and Aanya. Uncle to Vindee, Vidya, Vishal, Anisha, Ashan, Riyaz and Safraz; his cousins. He is predeceased by his father and his two sisters.
A celebration of Ramdeo's life will take place at Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Ave, Pelham, NY, on April 25, 2023, between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Pelham Funeral Home on April 26, 2023, between the hours of 9:30 am and 10:30 am.
