He proudly served his county in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was married to Pauline Anderson in 1974. They had 4 children together; Shana Dawn, Shane Lavon, Bobbie Jo, and T. Danielle. They were later divorced. He later married Tamara Hunsaker in 1991 and she brought her daughter Chanda into the marriage. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo Temple in 1992. Randy worked most of his life at a variety of jobs. Due to health issues he was unable to be employed for the last several years and spent much of his time tinkering with computers. He loved his family and large extended family and enjoyed spending time with them. He especially loved being a grandpa and playing and visiting with his grandkids. His other hobbies included traveling, photography, roller skating, going to water parks (except for the blistering sunburns), amusement parks, hunting, fishing, riding a motorcycle, playing board games, and his computers. Randy’s courage in the face of multiple health challenges his sense of humor and his kind and gentle manner will never be forgotten. The family wishes to express its appreciation to the many doctors and staff at UVRMC and at the office of Dr. Stanton McDonald who lightened his load over the past few years. He was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings, most recently as Assistant Ward Clerk. He is survived by his wife Tamara, his five children, thirteen grandchildren, and by four brothers Tom, Tim, Gary and Bob, his sister Sherry Brunson, and many nieces and nephews.
