Richard Foster Obituary
He was born February 16, 1952 in Albemarle, NC.
He graduated from Albemarle High School and earned a Bachelor's degree at UNC Charlotte.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Carol Foster, and mother, Frances Foster Zimmerman.
Richard is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patty Foster; son, Richard Alan Foster Jr. and wife; 3 grandchildren; stepdaughter, Paula and husband; 3 grandsons and 1 great-grandson. He also leaves behind a sister, Carol Jo and husband; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He attended China Grove Church of God prior to his illness, and formerly was a member of Kannapolis Priesthood Motorcycle Ministry.
He was active in witnessing and sowing seeds of salvation along with is friend, Pastor Doug and other members of the ministry.
He also enjoyed short or long trips on his motorcycle.
There will be a service in his honor at China Grove Church of God, 413 N. Franklin Street, China Grove, NC 28023, on February 16, 2025 in morning worship at 10:30 a.m.
Rest in Peace - You will be missed.

I worked with Richard for many years at R&R BBQ. Starting in Kannapolis in 1998, then Harrisburg, then onto Pitts Sch Rd. . Richard was a kind soul, quite till you really got to know him. He and I also attend the same Church . A lot of sweet memories I have of him. Prayers for Patti whom I´ve known just as long. Fly high now my friend, you are finally home! I will miss you !
